Aluminium containers

Our range of aluminium alloy containers are made to the highest standards to ensure weatherproof protection thanks to their proven design.

The body has a spot welded seam and the sides and base are rolled together into the top and  base profiles, which together with the horizontal ribs ensures that the cases are immensely strong while still remaining light in weight.

The lids are manufactured from the same gauge of aluminium alloy sheet as the bodies which is rolled into the rim profile, which gives it immense strength. The edges roll smoothly over so that water will not gather on the lid. Each corner is fitted with a high impact plastic stacking mount. This mount is designed to locate with the base profile of the case above, when stacked to produce positive stacking location.

The lid is fitted to the body with stainless steel hinges and with a pair of polyester restraint straps to prevent hinge strain and lid damage. A continuous polyurethane foam seal is extruded directly onto the underside of the lid and is designed to close onto the upper body profile ensuring weatherproof protection of the store contained within.

 

All cases are fitted with sprung, folding handles that have a padded hand grip for comfort and are rated for 35kg payload. The lids are secured by a pair of stirrup catches that are pre-drilled to accommodate cylinder locks (factory fitted option), padlocks or wire seals.
